RHM Supported Children

Children 1 & 2: This is Deborah (4) and Vijay Kumar (1) on Deborah's birthday. Their Daddy abandoned them. The mother & children stay with the grandmother (part of our widows & elderly ministry).

1 & 2. Deborah (left child) and the baby Vijay Kumar's mother is Suvarthamma. She is currently (Feb '21) part of our tailoring project, trying to learn a skill to provide for the children.

3. Esther Rani (2nd from right) is standing with her parents and aunty (far left). The father was near death because of alcoholism. About a year or so ago, he & Esther Rani's mother came to Christ. The Dad cannot work much. We're assisting the family with food, and Esther Rani with education needs.

3. Esther Rani (2nd older girl from the right) with family and neighbors. There's 4 families represented in this photo that we are involved with.

4 & 5. The little girls are Yesu Meri (7) and Sukanya (5). Their mother died shortly after Sukanya's birth. The father didn't want the responsibility of the children, so left the family.

4 & 5. The woman to the left of Yesu Meri & Sukanya is their grandmother, maybe only about 40 herself. Her husband also abandoned her. The great grandmother on the right is a widow. They do what work they can to survive. The grandmother's son is also with them (maybe about 20).
