Helping the Poor & Needy Children
The children whom we're involved with come from a wide variety of backgrounds and brokenness. A few are total orphans (no living parents). Several are semi-orphans (one parent has died). The majority have been abandoned by one or both parents. Most of our single mothers are struggling to care properly for their children. We do have several more children who have both parents in the home, but for various reasons are in some poverty. At this time (March 2026) we have 41 children (28 girls and 13 boys) whom we try to visit on a weekly basis, and at about 25-30 others whom we try to see and minister to as much as possible. We have a girls home with 5 girls in a rented home right next to a church we're affiliated with. Lord willing, and if funds permit, we will gradually try to increase this with the more needy girls. There's about 40-50 other children whom we are involved with through a Sunday School ministry, paying a children's ministry leader/friend to work with them in 5 different villages. Your donations are helping about 55 of our children with education (as of March 2026). For the 41 children whom we see more regularly, if funds are available we also help them with any medical expenses or clothing needs they might have. In all that we do, we hope to bring them closer to our Savior. Please pray about joining hands with us in this precious ministry of helping the poor children.
